Custom Web Development Services
There is a point where configuring a platform costs more than building the thing you actually need. Custom development is for after that point — not before it.
We build customer portals, booking and quoting systems, internal dashboards, marketplace functionality and the integrations that connect them to the tools you already run — CRMs, ERPs, payment providers, fulfillment and analytics databases. The stack is typically Next.js and TypeScript with Postgres behind it, chosen because it is fast, widely supported and hires easily in the US market. You should never be stuck with a codebase only its original author can maintain.
Before any of that we will try to talk you out of it. Plenty of requests that arrive as custom builds are solvable with a configured platform and a fraction of the budget, and we would rather say so early than take the larger engagement. When custom genuinely is the answer, we scope a real MVP, ship it in sprints you can see, and write the tests and documentation that make the second year cheaper than the first.
What's included in Custom Web Development Services
Discovery & technical scope
Requirements, data model, integrations and constraints written down and agreed before estimating.
MVP definition
The smallest build that proves the case, with phase two documented rather than argued about later.
Application build
Next.js and TypeScript on Postgres — a mainstream stack your next developer will already know.
System integrations
CRM, ERP, payments, fulfillment and analytics database connections, with error handling that surfaces failures.
Testing & CI
Automated tests and a deployment pipeline, so shipping a change does not require crossed fingers.
Documentation & handover
Architecture notes, runbooks and a walkthrough. The code is yours and readable by someone else.
How Custom Web Development Services work
Step 1: Scope & architecture
Pages, templates, URL structure and integrations agreed in writing before anyone opens an editor.
Step 2: Build in the open
Work lands on a staging URL you can watch. Weekly check-ins, not a three-month silence.
Step 3: Test on real conditions
Core Web Vitals on a throttled mobile connection, keyboard and screen-reader passes, cross-browser checks.
Step 4: Launch & hand over
Redirect map, analytics, Search Console, then documentation and a walkthrough so your team can run it.

How do you price custom development?
Discovery is a fixed fee and produces a written scope, data model and estimate. Build is either fixed-price against that scope or time-and-materials in two-week sprints, depending on how firm the requirements are. Anyone quoting a custom build without discovery is guessing.
What stack do you build on?
Next.js and TypeScript with Postgres, unless you have an existing stack we should match. The reasoning is maintainability: these are mainstream, well-documented tools with a deep hiring pool in the US, so you are not dependent on us to keep the thing alive.
Can you work with our existing codebase?
Usually. We start with a short code review to understand what we are inheriting and give you an honest read on its condition — including if the answer is that a rewrite would cost less than continuing. We work through your review process rather than around it.
Who owns the code?
You do, from the first commit, in your repository. No licensing, no escrow, no dependency on us for hosting. If you decide to move the work in-house or elsewhere, everything needed to do that is already in your hands.
