Shopify Development Services

Shopify handles the hard parts of selling online in the US — payments, inventory, sales tax, compliance — and leaves you responsible for the two things that decide revenue: how fast the storefront is and how well it sells.

We build custom themes and extend Shopify's own theme architecture rather than installing an app for every requirement. Apps are the usual reason a store gets slow: each one injects scripts into every page, several duplicate work the theme already does, and nobody removes the leftovers when the app is uninstalled. Our builds keep the app count deliberate, use native sections and metafields for merchandising flexibility, and give your team real control over collection and product content without a developer in the loop.

Store performance is measured where it matters — on a mid-range phone over a throttled connection, on your actual product and collection templates rather than the homepage. From there it is specific work: image formats and sizing, script deferral, removing dead app fragments, and cutting the render-blocking assets in the theme. Migrations from WooCommerce, Magento or BigCommerce are handled with a full URL inventory and redirect map so the organic revenue survives the move.

process

How Shopify Development Services work

Step 1: Scope & architecture

Pages, templates, URL structure and integrations agreed in writing before anyone opens an editor.

Step 2: Build in the open

Work lands on a staging URL you can watch. Weekly check-ins, not a three-month silence.

Step 3: Test on real conditions

Core Web Vitals on a throttled mobile connection, keyboard and screen-reader passes, cross-browser checks.

Step 4: Launch & hand over

Redirect map, analytics, Search Console, then documentation and a walkthrough so your team can run it.

by state

Shopify Development Services by state

Where the search market differs enough to deserve its own plan — each page is written for that state's metros, geography and competition.

Shopify Development Services FAQ

Custom theme or a marketplace theme?

A well-chosen marketplace theme, customized properly, is the right answer for plenty of stores and costs far less. A custom theme earns its price when your merchandising is unusual, your brand needs to look unlike everyone else's, or performance has become a revenue problem. We will say which one your store needs.

Why is my Shopify store slow?

Almost always apps and images. Every app injects scripts sitewide, uninstalled apps frequently leave fragments behind in the theme, and hero and product images are often served far larger than they render. We audit both before recommending anything structural.

Can you migrate my store to Shopify?

Yes, from WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce and custom builds. The critical piece is the redirect map — products, collections, blog posts and any legacy URL patterns — plus monitoring through the first weeks. That is where migrations lose organic revenue, and it is where we spend the time.

Do you handle Shopify Plus?

Yes, including Shopify Functions, checkout extensibility and B2B features. Plus is worth the step up when you need checkout customization or you are hitting API and automation limits on the standard plans — not simply because of volume.
