Mobile App Development Services

Most failed app projects — and US businesses fund a lot of them — were not badly built. They were badly scoped — everything anyone wanted in version one, agreed before anybody had used anything.

We scope the smallest build that proves the idea and write everything else down as phase two, so the argument about scope happens once, in a document, rather than repeatedly during development. Then flows and a clickable prototype tested with people from your actual audience, because it is far cheaper to discover that the onboarding is confusing in a prototype than in a one-star App Store review.

Build runs in two-week sprints, each ending in a TestFlight or internal-track release you can install and use. That rhythm is the difference between an app that ships and one that is perpetually two months out — you see it grow, you catch misunderstandings in week three instead of month four, and priorities can change without renegotiating the entire contract. We handle App Store and Google Play submission end to end, including the review rejections that catch first-time publishers, and we stay on afterwards for crash monitoring and OS-update compatibility.

process

How Mobile App Development Services work

Step 1: Define the MVP

The smallest build that proves the idea, with everything else written down as phase two rather than argued about later.

Step 2: Prototype the flows

Clickable screens for the core journeys, tested with real users before a line of production code.

Step 3: Build in sprints

Two-week cycles with a TestFlight or internal-track build at the end of each one. You use it as it grows.

Step 4: Ship & maintain

Store submission handled end to end, then crash monitoring, OS-update compatibility and a support window.

Mobile App Development Services FAQ

How much does an app cost to build?

A focused MVP for one platform typically starts in the mid five figures; both platforms with backend, integrations and a real design phase runs considerably higher. The honest answer requires discovery — anyone quoting from a one-paragraph brief is quoting a number they intend to revise.

Should I build for iOS, Android, or both?

In the US, iOS holds a majority of app revenue while Android holds more devices — so it depends on who you are selling to. If budget forces a choice, we look at your existing customer analytics rather than national averages. Cross-platform frameworks often make it moot.

How long does it take?

Three to five months for an MVP including discovery, design, build and store approval. Store review itself is usually days, but it can bounce, so we plan for a resubmission cycle rather than treating first-time approval as certain.

What happens after launch?

Apps need maintenance whether or not you add features — OS updates, dependency updates, store policy changes and crash fixes. We offer an ongoing support arrangement, and if you would rather take it in-house we hand over documented code and a walkthrough.
